The flags down each side of the road are meant to beckon visitors to come in and check out the new homes; to us it just looked like a great setting for some naked pics.
With nerve worked up, Mrs. Pix boldly got out of our car and started walking away down the road toward the development – why I wasn’t shooting pics like crazy as she walked away I have no idea – I kick myself now. But after a dozen yards or so I called for her to return and that’s when I took these shots. Now, I’m sure I was intending to run the scenario again (maybe catching the walk away the next time), but about this time I noticed a service truck heading toward us from the development. It was pretty clear from its acceleration that we were busted.
So, I shouted the alarm and we both jumped in the car and started up – a little bit panicked as getting busted was not in the plan. I had to make a quick K-turn to get out of there, and by the time we were heading back toward the exit, the truck was close enough to hear the passenger leaning out his window yelling … “Don’t GO!!!” But I hit the gas, actually peeling out. While pulling away, from behind, I heard the plaintive yell … “I LOVE YOU!!!”
The truck grew small in the rear view mirror … we made it back to the highway … we merged with traffic and both stared straight ahead down the road … our breathing calmed … our pulses slowed … we eventually glanced at each other … and burst out laughing.
The photographic quality here is a bit lacking, but when you’re shooting total nudity in total public, guerilla style, sometimes that happens.

Pixellator: Mrs. Pix – Roadside Real Estate

This is an almost-candid snapshot of Mrs. Pix enjoying the feeling of traveling nude. Pixellator: Mrs. Pix – A Visit to the Liquor Store

This IS what it looks like. Mrs. Pix is posing in nothing but heels outside an open liquor store. There is more to the story, of course.
This came about quite spontaneously. We had intended to spend the evening at a nightclub we know … beginning with a sexy/touchy dinner, continuing with some pool in a dress far too short, to be followed by some nuzzling in dark corners of the club. But when we got to the club, we found it was closed. Disappointed, and with an evening of real-time foreplay already well under way, we were both a bit “warm” and were groping for a “plan B” when we noticed this liquor store nearby. Mrs. Pix was already naked in the car (as is usual for a date night), so the idea of grabbing a couple of quick pics in a place that is already restricted to adults was a natural enough thought (if you think like us). She was game.
What does not show in this isolated pic is that she did not just pose outside the store, but actually went INTO the store and, using the bills in her hand, asked to buy a pack of condoms … “fast”. Our intent, of course, was to inject a bit of humor into the situation and amuse the proprietor while collecting some cool pics. As it happened, the proprietor was not amused and we left … fast.
I did follow her into the store and more pics were taken, but unfortunately, all of them were later lost in a hard drive crash. This one pic is all that remains because it happens that I had made a print of it for a conventional dead-tree photo album before the original files were lost. That accounts for the irregularities that can be seen in this pic – artifacts of being scanned back into digital form from that one surviving print. Life … lemons … lemonade.
